About Melissa

Melissa Crain is a web design engineer and professional photographer. Based in the Bay Area, Melissa splits her time mainly between San Francisco and Sebastopol, California. She is passionate about the process of creation and puts everything she has into making every project she works on the best it can be.

She recently completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics at Sonoma State University. During her time there she started New Skin Media and established herself in the field of photography.

She mainly shoots with her mom and dad, who together make the pefect team, Arken Studios, complimenting each of their strengths to make their cleints have an unforgettable experience. The studio is currently under construction and will be available soon for booking in the near future.
